خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ

"The best among you are those who learn the Qur'ān and teach it"

[Sahih al-Bukhari 5027]

Meet Ustadh Tahir:

Assalāmu’alaikum Wa Rahmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh,

From a young age, I was immersed in the study of the Qur’ān and Islamic sciences, spending my formative years at an Islamic boarding school in the UK. Those years shaped not only my discipline, but my love for Qur’ān memorisation and sacred knowledge. As I grew older, I began to see the Qur’ān not just as a source of guidance for the ākhirah, but also as a foundation for purpose, structure, and excellence in the dunya. Al-Hijāz Academy was born from this conviction: to provide students with a grounded, authentic, and structured environment where Qur’ān and Islamic knowledge can be pursued seriously, with sincerity, clarity, and long-term vision.

Through Al-Hijāz Academy, my aim is to revive a culture of consistency, ādāb, and high standards in seeking knowledge. Too often, students have sincerity but lack structure, or structure without spiritual depth. I wanted to bridge that gap. By combining traditional methods with a clear understanding of the realities students face today, Al-Hijāz seeks to nurture individuals who are rooted in faith, confident in their identity, and prepared to contribute positively to both their communities and the wider world.

Ustadh Tahir’s Qualifications:

At Al-Hijāz Academy, we seek to nurture students whose hearts and character are shaped before their credentials.

Our learning spaces reflect this intention: calm, purposeful environments designed for focus, reflection, and discipline.

Within these walls, students engage deeply with the Qur’ān, Islamic sciences, and questions of morality, responsibility, and character in the modern world.

Ādāb, sincerity, and consistency are woven into every session, ensuring that knowledge is not treated as information alone, but as a trust. Through structured learning and spiritual grounding, Al-Hijāz Academy aims to cultivate individuals who live with integrity & clarity.
